My client is a world leader in RF and microwave components and subsystems and are seeking a GaAs MMIC designer to work ona Contract basis.The successful candidates will design and develop GaAs products, including switches, based on the client's in-houseprocess, for various internal and external customers and a number of applications.Successful candidates will be involved in the whole product development cycle, designing and characterising the parts andoffering applications support to internal and external customers.Specific responsibilities include Design, test and evaluate new products on the GaAs MMIC processes, Provide technicalsupport to customers and the Sales and Marketing groups, become familiar with foundry processes and design rules, design,model and simulate MMIC structures including packaging, perform detailed investigation of small and large-signal circuitbehaviour, undertake rigorous characterisation of MMIC designs (small-signal, large-signal and DC) and evaluate productperformance against customer specificationsIdeal candidates will be post-graduate level engineers with MMIC exposure or graduate level with 2years+ MMIC designexperience.Skills: MMIC, RFIC, switch, radio, GaAs, characterising, VSAT, cellular, point to point, mobile, base station |
