Established since 1981, my client is one of Britain's largest independent manufacturers of specialist paper products (e.g. tissue, toilet, and facial paper). Following a recent internal promotion and as part of an overall strategy for continued growth, they are actively looking to recruit a strong National Accounts Manager with specific "Toilet Tissue" experience to help drive sales throughout the major Grocery and Retail Multiples. This pivotal position in the organization will control all national dealings throughout the major grocery multiples (e.g. Sainsbury's, IceLand, Morrison, ASDA, TESCO). Although the organization has a strong positioning in the market, you will be the key player in the company when it comes to seeking to develop new product lines and increasing product space. You will be responsible for developing new business relationships in unfounded and underdeveloped markets, together with managing millions of pounds in revenue in existing business. Strategic thinking and pro-active educated risk taking will be the secret to your success with this leading organization. The successful applicant will have strong professional presentation and communication skills and display an ability to influence at a senior level. National accounts exposure is also a must (ideally 3 years + dealing with the likes of Sainsbury's, IceLand, Morrison, ASDA, TESCO), as is specific product experience (i.e. selling tissue/toilet paper, deodorant, personal hygiene etc) to ensure you can hit the ground running. Your innovative ideas and pro-active work habits will be valued and your knowledge of the FMCG industry will assist you in taking this market leader to a further level of market dominance. A generous base salary (GBP 35-45K Negotiable) will be offered together with a fully maintained company vehicle and bonus structure that will see you earn in excess of GBP 60k Uncapped OTE - along with all the tools of the trade.
