Description:

: Network Analyst is required in London to join a team running the NOC in a pan-European ISP. Over 4 years in a customer focussed operation with proven use of SDH/DWDM network management applications; strong SDH, TCP/IP or Frame relay experience. A good knowledge of MS Office and of telecoms or data products and services. The Network Analyst must have experience in resolving complex customer issues to tight time-scales and be flexible in working unsupervised in a 24x7 working environment. You will use dedicated management systems to manage the network; provide technical support to internal and external customers in a 24x7 operation; and use monitoring tools and network information to be able to resolve faults in accordance with SLAs. Other duties include trouble-shooting; responsibility for the buildings management alarm system, 3rd party liaison and closure faults; and providing updates to the NOC Manager and to affected customers. You will need to co-ordinate with on-site engineers to escalate, resolve and close faults; and perform some hardware installation at operations centres when required. Salary will be GBP 30K base plus 15% shift allowance, plus GBP 2K inconvenience allowance and other benefits.
