Assist in customer facing roles in presales (as tech skillbase, no selling involved). Give 3rd/4th level support to Support Function. Peers are Cisco/Juniper engineers, convergence, and optical engineers.Skills/aptitudes required:Ideal:Media Gateway, Ethernet switching, softswitch technology, SIP servers,unified ip services, VOIP communication protocols e.g. MGCP, H248, SIP, management platforms, unix admin/script, windows, 3 years plus customer support, smart appearance, proactive, good communication skills/consultancy approach, teamplayer.Advantageous:from service provider/enterprise background, relevant training, Opportunities:New business area offering significant growth potential.
