Description: |
A minimum of 6 years experience is required in the following areas: Detailed practical knowledge of database administration in high-pressure environments working in sub-contractor role and against tough deadlines: Deep experience in relational database technology. In-depth knowledge and experience of NHS data structures. RDBMS Database Administration. HP NonStop System Administration including familiarity with NSK / OSS Utilities such as SQLCI, FUP and MEASURE. Experience of Two-Phase Commit protocols, data file back up and recovery utilities and able to devise backup strategies. Design, build, test and implement a disaster recovery strategies. Experience working with customers and partners. Experience in performance tuning, sizing and capacity planning of RDBMSs. Ability to work within and lead a virtual team. Ability to develop a collaborative working relationship with customers and other teams. Must be flexible and adaptable to meet all requirements. Strong knowledge of integration. Understanding of how software houses operate. |
