Idealpeople are delighted to present an opportunity for a skilled network support engineer, working in the cutting edgemarketplace of IP telephony.Our client are a provider of world class converged solutions for the Contact Centre marketplace, rolling out theircombination of computer telephony and speech recognition solutions to a broad and diverse array for clients, ranging fromlarge utilities companies, thorough public sector, to large off shoring functions for multi national organisations.Due to the continued growth and success of this organisation, we now require an Operations and Support Engineer, toaugment the existing team and further improve the support service offered to their high profile domestic clients.This individual will be responsible for not only administering support, but also for the continued development, growthand maintenance of a carrier grade IT infrastructure.Within the remit of this individual will fall Network Configuration, Database administration and maintenance of ITintegrity and availability.The right individual will be:Microsoft MCSE certifiedIP Network qualified to CCNA or CCDA levelYou will have a background in:A large corporateA Telecom Services companyContact Centre SupportISP (Hosting/ Service Provider or Development Company)Telecom Carrier in Advanced Network ServicesHere are the skills we're looking for:Knowledge of Telephony IVR or ACD systemsWindows 2000 or 2003 systems administrationMulti Server Systems ArchitectureUNIX Admin experienceSybase or MySQL Database AdministrationWeb site hosting using Apache or TomcatServer Build and ConfigurationIP Networking Configuration including FirewallIf you have the necessary support skills, an understanding of Networking and IP Telephony, and like the idea of workingfor an industry leader in a truly cutting edge marketplace, then what are you waiting for?
