Leading financial services organisation based in Manchester is currently looking for an Operational Risk Manager toprovide expert input, advice and guidance to management teams to enable them to achieve agreed business requirements,contribute to overall profit targets and improve their performance in line with the business strategy and objectives. Youwill be responsible for: Ensuring the operational risk function contributes to the businesses strategic plans byoptimising the risk / reward trade-offs. Developing consistent operational; risk policies, processes, systems andevaluation methods across all of the business. Ensuring operational risk policies, processes, systems and evaluationmethods comply with best practice including current and proposed future regulatory requirements, Basel -II, CAD3, IPSB.Ensuring a consistent cost effective operational risk mitigation programme is established. Determining risk based limitsand delegated discretions on operational risk, where appropriate. The successful candidate will be Graduate calibre orequivalent, with analytical skills and experience of evaluating and quantifying operational risk in order to developmenta meaningful regulatory and/or economic capital figure based on risk. Have an excellent knowledge of relevant regulatoryrequirements, Basel II, CAD 3, IPSB particularly in relation to operational risk and be able to balance these in thecontext of business requirements.
