Job description:Excellent chance to work with a leading IT company. As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the physical design, building, maintenance, monitoring and tuning of a number of our clients database portals. These are business-critical systems that provide a service for many companies.You will also be involved in the application design stages helping developers to design for optimum performance and produce highly tuned SQL and PL/SQL. The databases are nearly all Oracle 9 on Unix clustered servers.Capabilities:Mandatory Technical Skills: * Oracle 8i/9i Database Administration* SQL and database tuning* Backup and Recovery* Unix Shell scripting* Good communication skills and strong team playerDesirable: * Oracle 10g |
