My client requires an experienced Oracle DBA to be responsible for the administration of all databases within theorganisation. The primary focus of the role will be to provide 24x7 support of all production databases across multipledatabase technologies. Additionally, the role will include the support of non-production database environments, andprovide database development duties on a project basis. Candidates should have technical experience in a number ofdatabase technologies: Oracle, Universe, Sybase, SQL Server. An understanding of database architectures, and experiencein database monitoring/database backup & recovery, and a proven record in production database support is essential. DataModelling experience is important, as is a good understanding of testing and QA procedures. |
