You will assist the Team Leader in examining packages of work and give advice on practicality, skills required, risks involved and realistic timescales for completion.You will be responsible for the management and control of problems and change within your area of responsibility as requested by the Team Leader, including negotiation with other teams as necessary. You will have the ability to escalate problems, issues and risks as necessary. You will play an active part in Process improvement and have an awareness of and compliance with all relevant quality processes.Additional responsibilities include coaching and mentoring other members of the team and to provide On-Call cover to support the live Frameworks service.Mandatory Skills:Experience of Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL and UnixDesirable Skills:Previous Experience as a developer using Cool:GenComponent Based DesignAwareness of Risk & Change ManagementKnowledge of SLC/RAE and associated development processes and proceduresJoin the Collaborative Business Experience! |
