ORACLE / SYBASE PRODUCTION DBA needed (Search Words :- Oracle, Sybase IQ, DBA, UNIX, SQL,) based in Bristol, South West &paying a Very Competitive Salary + Bonus + Excellent Benefits package. As Production DBA you willbe responsible for providing support for Sybase IQ/Oracle as follows :- Excellent knowledge of Sybase IQ product, Oracleproduction databases, database software installations on new servers, & maintain database security standards. You willalso have development responsibilities which are as follows :- Provide advice on the use of Sybase IQ in developmentprojects, Support & assistance to development teams in the design, development, testing & tuning & implementation of alldatabase applications & advise on Oracle database design. You will be expected to have the following level of experiencewith these skills :- Sybase IQ (or Sybase ASE) - 2 years, Oracle DBA - 1 year, UNIX ksh or bash scripting - 2 years, UnixAdministration - 1 year, Windows Support knowledge - 1 year, Extensive SQL knowledge - 4 years, Front End Tool knowledge- Either Business Objects, Brio or Crystal.
