: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Planner to join a highly successful fresh produce company in the Cambridgeshire area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the co ordination of all resources needed to supply the customers, maintaining high service levels whilst ensuring costs are kept to a minimum. Responsibilities include: resource control, packaging control, Business Analyst contact, production planning, purchase order control and stationary control. Primary focus is on the ordering and monitoring of packaging which includes: quality checks, measuring delivery performance and carrying out stock checks. You will also spot check packaging at all stages of the process and forecast production therefore calculating potential agency staff requirements. You will maintain and order stationary stocks and replenish when necessary. You will provide Business Analysts with appropriate cost spreadsheets and relevant paperwork as well as dealing with all aspects of purchase orders. You will have skills in the following areas -Strong communication skills in order to develop both internal and external relations -Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Access) -The ability to think on your feet -Reliable with a pro-active attitude -Attention to detail -Exceptional organisational skills Ideally from a planning background, preferably within the fresh produce/Food Industry, it would be advantageous to be flexible forward thinking with an ambitious upbeat attitude.
