As a Planner you will work with and provide support for colleagues in project teams. You will work closely with the cost engineer to provide a seamless service with no areas of overlap and develop and promote with others in the companys planning management community. As a member of relevant professional body or professional accreditation, you will be qualified to HNC/HND or equivalent with a knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation and principles of best practice in Planning. Industry and commercial knowledge in the field of planning. You must have previous experience of a wide range of projects in a planning capacity, as well as previous commercial and financial experience. A strong technical awareness, ability to understand drawings and specifications and good customer and contractor service skills are needed and you must be capable of maintaining a high degree of effectiveness in a multi-project role, whilst managing priorities and working to challenging timescales. It is essential you are computer literate with in depth knowledge of specialist planning software.
