Our client works within a wide variety of industries including Oil and Gas, Refining and Chemical, Mining and Metal and Power Generation. Based at their clients South Wales site they are now looking to recruit a Planning Engineer to provide and maintain an effective and professional planning service to projects. Your key responsibilities will include the preparation of critical path project programmes at a level of presentation that is suitable for conveying an understanding of the project scope, targets and goals. You will also ensuring that programmes are specific, comprehensive, understandable and realistic. ONC qualified in a technical/engineering discipline or with an NVQ in project planning you will be fully conversant with and competent in using project planning software (MS Project). You should possess a minimum of 5 years experience of project planning across the various phases of project execution i.e. engineering, design, procurement and construction.
