Description:

The role will involve the management and co-ordination of long term contracts for design and build projects andassessment of rail structures. Other aspects of the role will include the organisation and supervision of a team ofEcologists and the development of new business. Extensive client liaison will be required to ensure that the companiesreputation for excellence is upheld.Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years previous experience of working as an Ecologist, which should have ideally beengained within a consultancy. This experience should have included project procurement and management as well as reportproduction and presentation. Expert knowledge of protected species and ecological impact assessments is required.Applicants must be educated to degree level and should ideally be a member of the Institute of Ecology and EnvironmentalManagement.
