Working alongside a team of highly enthusiastic consultants, the role will involve taking responsibility for thecontinuing development of the terrestrial ecology team through the production of successful tenders and managing the teameffectively. The successful candidate will also provide support and advice on projects for colleagues and clients andalso contribute to the overall management of department.Applicants must hold a first degree in Ecology and a related post-graduate degree would be an advantage. A minimum offour years previous professional experience gained within a consultancy environment is essential and should have includedterrestrial ecology work. Knowledge of current legislation and experience of EIA and habitat/protected species surveywork is also required. Applicants should ideally be a member of the IEEM.
