SUMMARY OF MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIESSpecify, Design and Analyse control system architecturesUndertake Requirements Capture, Verification and ValidationPerform System Safety, FMECA, System Testability and Reliability analysesWork on assigned projects to meet the company's objectivesSPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYTechnicalProject SupportMarketing SupportDesign and analyse control system architecturesPerform technical analysisPrepare reports for internal and external circulationPrepare test specifications for systems and sub-assembliesUndertake Requirements CaptureCreate and maintain the Product SpecificationDefine the Development Plan for CertificationPerform System Safety, FMECA, System Testability and Reliability analysesCreate Verification & Validation plans and control the processProduce the Verification Report showing the V&V process is completeProduce the HALT plan and report once the testing is completeAttend meetings and project reviews and participate as required (On and off site)Prepare and give presentations as necessaryProvide technical support to the Company's marketing efforts, including travelling to the customer's premises which canbe anywhere in the worldSPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYSupervisionWorks in accordance with the requirements of Project Leader and Company procedures on day to day technical matters.Reports to the Technical Director on matters of employment and day to day personnel aspects such as sickness, training,salary, performance.WORKING CONDITIONSOpen Plan office area and development laboratory except when supporting customers and other company departments.Usually work as member of multi - disciplinary project team but may occasionally work alone on-site and off-site.Normally based at the Cambridge site but available to work at the Greenford site or other sites when required |
