My Client is one of the worlds leading providers of environmental, health, safety and engineering design services to awide range of energy, property, and manufacturing clients involved in a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK,Ireland and the Former Soviet Union. Due to our rapidly expanding business we are looking to recruit for the above namedpositions.The Principals role requires a minimum of 6-7 years post part four and is aimed at diversifying both the technical andclient base of our Bristol or Hemel Hempstead EIA teams. The Landscape Architects role requires a minimum of 3 years postpart four experience. Both positions would provide support to existing UK and international EIA projects thereforeprevious experience of landscape and visual impact assessment, landscape planning, EIA and project management isessential. Experience of the assessment of windfarms, overhead electricity transmission lines, highways and otherinfrastructure developments would be advantageous. Applicants must demonstrate excellent design, report writing andAutoCAD skills.Role: To diversify the technical and client base of our Bristol/Hemel Hempstead EIA team To provide support to existing national and international EIA projects To secure work with new clients for The companyExperience and Skills: Successful candidate will have an interest in landscape planning and EIA, with experience of a wide range of projectsincluding urban regeneration, landscape and visual impact assessment, business parks, landscape master planning andhighway schemes Excellent design skills and report writing abilities. VIA including ZVI and photomontage production Master planning Landscape design and management Public inquiries (beneficial but not essential) Project and tender management Marketing/business development Computer literate with excellent AutoCAD skills and preferably with good knowledge of visual software packages Experience of overhead electricity transmission lines, property development, highways and wind farm schemes is ofparticular interestPersonal Attributes: Self starting Motivated and ambitious Team player Ability to develop the technical area Personable Excellent contactsQualifications: Qualified to Chartered status with a minimum 6 to 7 years as a full member of Landscape Institute |
