: Principal RF Engineer to design products with a significant RF electronics content for automotive, industrial and defence clients of a leading technology company. You must have 1st/2.1 (ideally a RF design-related MSc or PhD) in electronic engineering from a good university and 5+ years of experience. Experience in at least one of antenna design, sensor design, RF design for automotive/aerospace, EMC testing, design for 400MHz10GHz, type approval, or design for volume production is essential. You will be involved in leading projects both technically and as a manager, liasing with and presenting to clients. Specific responsibilities include project management; defining the most appropriate system design/architecture; participating in sales meetings; and preparing and contributing to proposals. You will be involved in board level design of RF and analogue circuits down to component level; the simulation of critical components; supervision of schematic capture and layout by CAD staff; and the test and verification of RF circuits. You will prepare data for client review; and you need to be comfortable working as part of a close-knit multi-disciplinary project team. Salary is negotiable based on background and experience but is likely to in the range GBP 30-50K. In addition there is an attractive range of benefits including relocation assistance.
