Description:

: Our client designs, manufactures and sells state of the art antennas for wireless telecommunications applications. They are expanding rapidly, following excellent sales growth internationally, and as such are looking for a Process Analysis Technician. The Process Analysis Technician will work a shift pattern and be responsible for using chemical analysis techniques to maintain to specification all chemical processes and to develop product analysis in non chemical areas. Main duties will include maintaining to specification all wet processes on site, through chemical analysis, and operation and development of the process control regime. Chemical analysis techniques currently employed on-site include titration, pH testing, gas chromatography, microscopic analysis as well as other manual and electronic testing methods. In addition you will undertake chemical analysis of all aspects of the plating, electrophoresis, etching and rinsing processes to standards and specifications determined by the Senior Chemical Process Engineer and record all analysis results on a computer-based spreadsheet, and produce summaries and simple statistical analysis and comparisons to ensure that the chemical processes are optimised. You will require a relevant qualification in chemistry or physics related subjects (GCSE/A Level +)with a chemical analysis background.
