PROCESS CHEMISTRY TEAM LEADER - FINE CHEMICALS / PHARMACEUTICALS - REF 12700An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chemistry Team Leader to join our Clients North West based manufacturingfacility.Focusing on the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients for use in pre-clinical studies and to GMP for Phase Iand II clinical trials, the successful applicant will be an experienced Chemist with excellent time management skills andsupervisory/training experience.Key responsibilities will include:- Providing rapid chemistry scale-up and development solutions to meet customer objectives and expectations- Leading a team of 8 experienced and qualified R&D Chemists- Ensuring the efficient management of projects and production resources to ensure competitive positioningApplicants should be able to satisfy the following requirements:- Minimum of 5 years experience in chemical process development and scale-up in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, or finechemistry industry- Dynamic and pro-active people manager who is self-motivated and flexible- Track record of delivering to tight project deadlines- Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsPosition: PermanentLocation: North WestSalary: Highly competitive with additional pension and healthcare benefits
