Qualifications/ExperienceDegree in chemical engineering.Strong background in process design.Availability for full time contract position.Experience of small-scale process plant or laboratory-scale production highly desirable.Experience in a highly-regulated environment highly desirable.Member of the IChemE (or be close to membership) desirable.Knowledge and experience of containment systems and the design of gas and liquid phase unit operations desirable.Experience in HAZOP and Design Verification techniques in the primary pharmaceutical nuclear or semiconductor industriesdesirable.Job Scope:The successful applicant will need to take ownership for stand alone system design (following rigorous design process).Selection and management of safety and environmental risk mitigations. Communication of design developments to otherdesign and safety disciplines. Performing item selection and sizing calculations.
