Description:

A major Pan European telecommunications and ISP company are currently seeking a Procurement Manager with 5 years experience preferably within the Telecoms sector. A member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) with a proven track record of handling Request for Proposals & negotiating contracts. The role would be a varied Procurement role and the key responsibility areas would include: Provision of professional procurement services across a wide spectrum of projects including the acquisition of equipment and services for operational departments, consultancy agreements, training requirements and procurement support the clients European Offices. Daily responsibilities will include the provision of commercial consultancy to support their business & minimise risk and the development of Procurement strategies and RFP's. We are also looking for candidates with experience of undertaking commercial negotiations with vendors and defining customer needs & identify potential sources of supply. You will also manage information trawls to vendors & the adjudication process developing vendor relationships & performance ensuring the clients interests are protected to maintain competitive awareness & market knowledge.
