: Product Designer to join a team working on developing products and processes for drug delivery, diagnostics,instrumentation and medical technology in this leading innovation company. You must have 1st/2.1 in industrial/productdesign or mechanical engineering/design from a top engineering university and a minimum of 2+ years (ideally more) in anindustrial design or product design environment. You should have hands-on experience in 3D CAD and be a team player witha creative flair. Initially, this position involves taking roles within product development projects with exposure to allaspects of development from contract negotiation to final delivery. You will be involved in concept generation andanalysis, creation of system designs, mechanical design, presenting solutions to colleagues and clients and liaison withother designers, engineers and scientists in the project team. You will have contact with clients at an early stage,getting involved in defining work programmes, holding workshops and giving presentations. You will manage tasks withinprojects requiring delivery within tight timescales and budgets, managing both internal and external resources. This willdevelop rapidly into management of projects, having full responsibility for delivery to our clients. This is an excellentopportunity for a product designer with the ambition and ability to achieve excellent results in a highly demandingindustry and to find novel and radical solutions to new and existing problems under tough commercial and time restraints.Salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications but is likely to be in the range GBP 25-35K and there is abonus scheme, relocation assistance and other benefits.
