Our client is one of the longest established broad based telecoms network providers in the UK with an established mediadivision based in Central London. Due to rapid expansion, they now require an experienced Interactive TV Product Managerto further develop their broadcast offering.The Role: Technical evaluation of new Interactive TV formats (based on Red Button, IVR or Mobile technologies) pitched to theCompany or introduced by sales people Report findings on new product evaluation to operations and sales Writing tech and functional specs for implementation Look at how new Interactive products can be set up technically and supported Managing any TV content supplier relationships Close liaison with Command TV and Cat and Mouse (technology partners) Management of product/service offering Preparation of product / user guides, technical overviews and PDF product guides for sales and marketing Further developing an existing portfolio of Interactive Applications (Games, Quiz, Auction, Betting, Gaming) on abroadcast platform Interfacing with IVR , web and Mobile development team when required Supporting client demos and presentations supporting sales as required Developing a range of web based management and reporting tools (Gallery Manager) to control the broadcast system andapplications. Project Managing bespoke or modifications to existing applications with third parties Manage connectivity and technical relationship to other third parties on a product by product basis (TV channels,production companies, agencies, IVR service bureaus) Ownership of the Product range.The Person: Tuned into latest TV developments Has good technical knowledge of Red Button TV /mobile and IVR technologies Application development experience with content underpinned by a sound commercial mind set Previous Interactive/broadcast Project Management experience would be a distinct advantage Team Player Able to prioritise and deliver products on time and to specification Good working knowledge within the broadcast industry ideally gained setting up and running a new SKY channel Organised and energeticSalary is a guide and will be negotiable for the right candidate who can really add value to the business with a generousbonus and benefits available.
