Our client supplies major Tier 1 service providers with solutions to manage bandwidth. Through continuous research anddevelopment our client has created a Peer-to-Peer traffic management solution that is becoming the solution of choice inthe marketplace. They are now looking to recruit a Product Manager.You will have a networking background with excellent all-round communication skills. You will be working with all keydepartments within our clients organisation, taking ownership for product strategy, management of suppliers, producingsupport documentation and supporting sales whilst co-ordinating beta tests and releases.To fulfil this role you will have the following attributes: Degree qualified and have good networking experience including a knowledge of TCP/IP In addition experience of some or all of the following would be preferable: Ethernet, broadband access technologies,P2P, Linux, routing, storage and server hardware Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to write technical documentation Experience of working for a service provider or network equipment vendorThis is a key role within our clients organisation and would suit a candidate who is currently working for a serviceprovider or network equipment vendor or within a consulting role in a similar environment. |
