methods. Assisting with the management of this change whilst ensuring that customer needs for design flexibility & shortleadtimes continue to be met. You will identify & introduce process improvements to electrical/mechanical assembly & testoperations to improve process & product efficiency & quality. Establish the root causes of concerns, leading teamsinvolving both staff & suppliers, to ensure that product designs & processes are continuously improved in the light ofmanufacturing experience. Problem solving & the use of standard techniques such as cause & effect diagrams, involving &training all staff to implement corrective actions. Leading kaizen teams to reduce waste & build mistake proofingtechniques into existing processes. Identifying & sourcing new equipment & facilities, working with design &manufacturing teams & using failure mode effects analysis to prioritize & reduce risk within manufacturing. You should beable to read engineering drawings, use basic inspection equipment to check componenets to drawing & design simpleinspection jigs & fixtures. As an individual you should be a confident & effective communicator, self-motivated &pro-active. The company are located in a semi-rural location and candidates should either currently live withinreasonable commuting distance, or be able & prepared to relocate at their own cost (i.e in rented accommodation) |
