Key Accountabilities: Recruit, train, discipline, and communicate with employees. Develop composite technicians to meet the needs of thebusiness Ensure and apply to Supervisors and Senior Technicians are aware of the latest recruitment, discipline andcommunication techniques Generate training programmes and ensure training and development of all staff is up to date and relevant Deal with Personnel issues in regards to managing holidays, absenteeism, over time, as well as Appraising Professional interface with other departments Liaison with buyers, engineers, internal and external clients Manage planned significant growth Plan, co-ordinate and meet challenging deadlines Ensure smooth day to day running of the small batch based manufacturing operation plus one off prototypes Work with Composites Manager to establish a production planning and control tools Monitor quality and cost within production and take decisions and actions accordingly Take overall responsibility for Health and Safety for the team Manage image and quality of the site Maintain and update site standards Plan and invest into site and production related areas Responsible for production related direct and indirect costs (Turnover, Personnel costs, material costs)PERSON SPECIFICATIONEducation/QualificationsPreferably Engineering HNC/HND Degree, Composites as special subjectWork ExperienceMinimum 10 years experience within Composites of which Minimum 5 years experience as Composites ProductionManager/Supervisor role, of which minimum 2 years experience within Motorsport Manufacturing Background with batchproductionManagement Skills Used to appraising, recruiting and disciplining staff Prioritises realistically Effective plannerTeam Motivator Shaper / Co-ordinator Quality and standards driven Financial responsibility / budgetary controlSpecial Aptitudes Hands on experience and knowledge of all composites areas Proven track recordo Deadlines driveno Identify quality vs costs Wants to continually develop and progress Excellent scheduling and planning skillsLocation NorthamptonshireSalary GBP 35,000 - GBP 40,000The F10 Group offers the services of an Employment Agency for permanent recruitment and the services of an EmploymentBusiness for contract recruitment. |
