Description:

My client has an immediate requirement for a Planning Engineer to join their busy manufacturing organisation. You will beresponsible for loading works orders onto the shopfloor to meet the needs of the manufacturing requirements in line withthe MRP system. You will need to make sure that all completed works orders are closed correctly and in a timely mannerand that all paperwork is as required. You will need to work closely with all departments including purchasing andmanufacturing to ensure BOMs are correct. You will be expected to identify and resolve shortages, control inventorylevels using MRP system and work in line with the 5S principle.
