PRODUCTION PROCESS ENGINEERNORTH WALESCIRCA GBP 40,000 per annum, plus bonus, car and benefit package.Our client, part of a well known PLC, is a major producer of unique minerals used in the construction industries. Theproducts are renowned for their reliability, durability and quality.Reporting to the Operations Manager, a new position has occurred for a Production Process Engineer to manage theengineering and maintenance resources through the implementation of best practice lean manufacturing techniques. Specificdeliverables are HS&E and the creation and control of modern preventative planned maintenance programmes to enableoperational staff to complete work on time and within budget. Dealing with.robust materials and products and managing amulti -disciplined maintenance team covering the installation of innovative new equipment in a period of change,significant motivational, persuasive and people management skills will need to be delivered.Candidates should be educated to degree level with an associated engineering or technical degree and have a minimum ofthree years work experience in a production manufacturing environment. An excellent communicator is required who has aworking understanding of lean manufacturing principles, such as Kaizen processes and value engineering.
