With a clear mission to enter the FTSE100 by 2007, my client one of the fastest growing technology driven companies inthe UK, requires through aggressive expansion an experienced, dynamic & business focussed Programme Manager. Degreeeducated & ideally PRINCE cert (practitioner level a bonus though not essential), you will lead the selection &definition of a portfolio of projects, which will comprise a significant programme of strategic change. Managing a teamof Project Managers & Business Analysts to deliver a portfolio of projects, you will exceed customer expectations withintight deadlines. With responsibility for project scheduling, tracking & reporting, you will focus on quality issues &work with methodologies including PRINCE, RUP & Agile techniques. The successful candidate will demonstrate 4+ yearsProgramme Management & 3+ years Project Management experience & will have held full budgetary responsibility circa 5million, delivering full lifecycle software based projects. This is a senior management position, critical to thebusiness & is suited to talented & ambitious individuals. Candidates with experience gained within the retail sector,specifically based around retail software application programmes (JDA, JBA etc) are of interest, though not essential.
