JOB SUMMARY Working within the PFI Finance team controlling all financial aspects of one or more operational PFI projects and oneor more during bid phase. All projects are high profile, high value and long term (15-40 years). This role is a truly commercial opportunity with the expectation that real value will be added to the projects. Some travel to projects locations will be required. Key interfaces will be the Project Team and the Bid Team.RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with the bid teams to advise on and model new deals and variations to operational projects. Work closely with the Project Management team advising on all operational financial matters proactively. Preparation of accurate actuals, forecasts and budgets Development and provision of management information Develop a good understanding of the PFI projects and contractsSELECTION CRITERIA Essential Skills and Experience Preparation of project actuals, forecasts and budgets involving costs and revenues. Development and presentation of management information to non financial managers. Provision of financial support during bid phase Good teamwork and communication skills Good Excel skills Understanding of project risks Desirable Skills and Experience Likely to be a qualified accountant US GAAP Financial modelling Entrepreneurial |
