: Our client is the new force in mechanical power transmission, serving an entire spectrum of mechanical power applications from food, energy, mining and metal to automotive, aerospace and machine propulsion. They are now looking to recruit two Project Design and Aftermarket Engineers from different backgrounds: one defence vehicle and the other machine-based. Primary responsibilities of this role will include:  Providing a customer facing resource to assess project scope requirements  Providing Engineered solutions whilst supporting the specification review, critique and negotiation phases of gaining and delivering the order  Interpreting customer specifications for assigned projects and opportunities  Liaising closely and effectively with the sales team  Carrying out engineering projects and contracts within timescale and budget parameters Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering, successful candidates will be commercially aware with knowledge of transmission engineering technology and systems design. At least five years experience in a similar senior design engineering role is preferred. You must also be CAD and CAE literate.
