To support the product development programme, my client now wishes to hire a graduate calibre temporary Project Engineer with proven experience to conduct work in support of several projects at their Design & Development office.Job title: Project EngineerReporting to: Design ManagerOverall objectives of the job:a) To support project teams by undertaking design work, testing and report/technical literature writing.b) Liason with key contacts within the business and suppliersCANDIDATE PROFILE1) Qualifications: the ideal candidate will have been educated to degree standard or equivalent in Mechanical or Electro-mechanical Engineering or similar discipline2) Experience: the successful candidate is likely to have at least 2-3 years recent experience in one or more of the following areas:a) Design of equipment such as or including small pumps, valves or pipework systems e.g. vending machinesb) Plastic component and assembly designc) Consumer goods design3) Working knowledge of design in an ISO 9001 environmentPERSONAL ATTRIBUTESCandidates will be:Spatially aware, Inventive, Process orientated, Analytical, Personable, Team spirited, AccurateAttentive to detail, Good communicator, Preferably a non-smokerHours of work: 8:45-17:00 Monday to Thursday and 8:45-15:30 Friday with 45 minutes lunch-break each day |
