The successful candidate should be a resourceful Engineer capable of working as part of a team. leading a project team or working individually with minimal support.A dynamic and flexible approach will be required to meet the diverse challenges which will be encountered in this role.Typical backgrounds for this kind of role would be as follows:- Mechanical / Electrical Designer of Special Purpose equipment looking for the next step.- A Project Engineer from a manufacturing / OEM environment.- A production / process Engineer from a Die Casting, machining or automated assemblybackground.- An Application Engineer from a machine tool supplier.- A maintenance technician / Engineer looking for the next step.- A Service Engineer for special purpose equipment.- An equipment development Engineer.A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position to those stated above.The ideal candidate would have a HNC or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering but as aminimum should have ONC level or equivalent.Be a practical hands on type person with skills developed early on.The Engine plant is an extremely dynamic environment where production output and product quality will always take priority and will make the successful installation of new equipment more challenging.In such an environment there is very little time to rest on our laurels or stand back and admire our work as the next challenge is always waiting. This however allows the individuals to develop quickly in the role and gain a great deal of experience.Relocation is available
