(PLEASE NOTE: To be considered for this position applicants MUST have knowledge/experience of electrical standards 61010.In addition knowledge/experience of UL916, 508 & 873 would be advantageous.)An excellent opportunity to join this leading test and certification organisation as a Project Engineer, where you willbe involved in the management of engineering projects relating to the assessment, testing and certification of industrialcontrol equipment.Under limited supervision, independently manages execution and timely completion of engineering projects by analyzingproject scope and determining project specifications, establishing test programs for product investigations, andpreparing reports for clients. Participates in the development of company requirements, test methods, and test equipment.Exercises Project Handler Signature Authority as Project Handler of record responsible for opening, maintenance,completion, and closing of assigned new work engineering projects. May exercise Review Signature Authority as assigned asReviewer of record responsible for initial review, status review, and final technical review of all new work engineeringprojects.To be considered for this position applicants should have a degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, IndustrialTechnology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics. You must also have at least 5 years directly related work experiencewith one or more of the following:- industrial control equipment, motor drives, temperature indicating & regulatingequipment, energy management equipment & transformers. In addition you will need to have detailed knowledge of relevantsafety standards (See Above), the technical vocabulary common to industrial control equipment and basic knowledge oflaboratory testing apparatus and techniques.Salary: GBP 30,000 - GBP 35,000 + excellent benefits package. |
