: Experienced Project Engineer required with medical device background. Candidates MUST have Project Management experience Overall purpose of job An excellent opportunity to work for a world leader in medical infusion equipment by; Supporting the introduction of new disposables products through all phases of product development cycle. Providing necessary technical support for existing disposable products. Providing technical input/support for disposable product enhancements. Principal Responsibilities Liaising with relevant internal functions to ensure that products meet both quality and customer requirements. Produce and manage project plans for above. Develop test plans/protocols and assist with product testing as required. Produce supporting project documentation that complies with corporate standards. Liaising with suppliers and third party manufacturers to ensure that products are delivered in a timely, cost effective manner consistent with company operational goals. Performing detailed analysis, and troubleshooting, where necessary, to identify causes of design issues, customer complaints and following through to complete solution. Support departmental compliance with the requirements of the EC Medical device Directive, ISO9000 and associated quality system requirements. Person specification Engineer - Degree, HND or HNC in Mechanical, Polymer, Materials engineering or similar. 1-3 years' experience or new graduate. Project management skills, timekeeping skills and high motivation essential. Knowledge of plastic materials/compositions, injection moulding, plastic extrusion and plastics forming/joining processes an advantage. Computer literate. Flexible attitude and good interpersonal skills. |
