: This organisation is the UK's premier ITS consultancy with some 250 staff and is the leading supplier to the Highways Agency, the Welsh National Assembly Government and the local authority market. They have a niche software business dealing particularly with travel planning and are actively seeking to broaden their business in terms of new technologies e.g. road user charging, new services e.g. operational management contracts and major new markets e.g. China. This project manager role has responsibility for delivery of client objectives and management of projects to maximise the commercial and strategic benefit to the company. Key experience required is the project management of multi-disciplinary projects and a proven record in the successful delivery to time and budget together with demonstrable customer satisfaction. Projects will range from small design-based projects through to larger GBP 1m+ turnkey solutions. An adaptive approach is required to meet the variety of project-management needs and the ability to manage, train and mentor staff on projects is essential. A degree qualification in engineering, transport systems, business, scientific or information technology-related discipline is desirable but not essential and a business management-related qualification (e.g. DMS) will prove beneficial.
