Description:

A large Railway company is looking for a Project Manager within their Minor Works department. Fantastic opportunity forprogression along with autonomy, being hands on and leading people.Accountabilities include:Responsible for accurately assessing the safety & technical impact of all Minor & Intermediate Works requests.Implementation of performance criteria to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and minimise abatementpayments.Monitor & report on the progress of all Minor Works instructions ensuring completion dates are met or where necessaryagree appropriate extensionsResponsible for ensuring that all current legislation and Engineering Standards are complied with.Responsible for gaining all necessary approvals and concessions to deliver and install the requested works package.Responsible for the management of the work packages, to ensure compliance with Safety, Programme and Financial targets.Working with others, to clarify and or develop the work scopes to enable the Commercial section to price in detail.Responsible for assisting in the development and building of effective and efficient teams.Deliver all aspects of the instructed variation works package to meet performance against both agreed set targets andgoals.Working with others, including appropriate people within the company and colleagues with the goal of ensuring that thework packages are delivered effectively understanding the impact of your works on others.Key requirements:Qualified to diploma/degree standard in an Engineering or Building related discipline.Full membership of relevant professional body.Experience of working at Site Manager level within an Engineering role, either Civil, Building, Electrical/Mechanical orStructural.Experience of managing a wide variety of small scale work packages.Experience of current safety and technical standards.Please do not hesistate to forward your CV for this exiting opportunity
