: Project Manager Wireless to manage challenging product developments for clients in a wide range of market sectors for a leading technology/innovation company. You must have a 1st/2.1 in engineering; good project management experience; and 5+ years of industrial experience working in wireless product design and development. You should have some exposure to managing products through manufacture; familiarity with multi-disciplinary projects and with wireless regulatory and type approval. You will managing wireless projects, typically consisting of multidisciplinary teams (including hardware, software, digital signal processing, mechanics and production engineering). Application areas telecoms, healthcare, automotive and consumer goods. The position involves the management of projects through the complete development lifecycle, from requirements definition through to final delivery. You will be involved in proposal preparation, selection of the team, negotiations with 3rd parties, managing concept generation, analysis of the system architecture, liaison across engineering disciplines and the specification, implementation and testing of the design. You will manage projects typically in the region GBP 10,000 to GBP 3,000,000 that require delivery within tight time-scales and budgets, managing both internal and external resources. The company offers an attractive salary, this is negotiable but likely to be between GBP 35-45K depending on background and experience.
