We are instructed to only submit to our Client candidates whose qualifications and experience match clientsspecification and for this position are able to work within the EU.Our Client, an offshore and onshore oil and gas contractor, is seeking Project Managers for various projects.Job Scope:Reporting to the Project Director you will be responsible for leading, directing and delivering all aspects of a largeand complex engineering and construction projects performance to ensure client acceptance within a required budget ×cale.Identifying and communicating the objectives for the project team in accordance with the contract terms, scope of workand divisional policy.Managing relationships with the project Clients, their agents and any joint venture partners, ensuring immediateresolution of any concerns/issues. Achieving scheduled performance, cost, quality, health, safety and environmentalrequirements of the project from contract award to Client's acceptance whilst negotiating all contract changes with theClient if necessary.Authorisation to determine all matters affecting the implementation and operation of the contract.Initiating the formulation of project policy or recommendations to the Client in all key areas in particular planning,procurement, estimation, construction and contract changes. This will include meeting with Marketing Proposals andCommercial Groups to review and handover contract and proposal documentation prior to commencement of work. Organisingthe project team in consultation with Departmental Managers and agree the assignment of all key personnel.Motivating the project team towards the determined objectives by generating enthusiasm for the project by maintaining andachieving set targets.Co-ordinate the activities of the main functional groups through the Managers/Lead Engineers on the project.Experience:8-10 years with extensive experience in project management within the process plant, oil and gas industry.Engineering Degree preferred or Project management.Rate/Salary: Negotiable - but should be good.Duration: Contract or permanent, so whether you are seeking a new contract or permanent position you will have thesecurity of long term prospects with this client.
