: This progressive and rapidly expanding business unit provides specialist technical mechanical engineering, safety and reliability and project management services to major aerospace and naval marine projects. They are now seeking a dynamic team leader with a mechanical engineering background with over 3 years of relevant industry or engineering consultancy experience to lead technical teams of between 10-20 people. Candidates will have the attributes necessary to lead a multi-disciplined technical team. They will have effective communication and consulting skills and work proactively with clients to manage technical relationships, create work opportunities and co-ordinate delivery of services. They must possess the ability to understand engineering issues sufficient to handle client enquiries and be able to demonstrate the drive required ensuring that enquiries are converted into tasks. In addition to the above, you should be: well organised with the ability to multi-task; have excellent people management, communication and listening skills; be a team player; maintain a business focus with commercial and financial awareness; and possess the technical mechanical engineering awareness and ability to develop understanding of client technical issues. |
