: This global CRO focused on oncology, central nervous system, and respiratory and infectious diseases is currently recruiting for a Proposal Development Manager to join their Berkshire offices. If you are degree educated and have the relevant experience, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within this worldwide organisation. The key responsibility of the Proposal Development Manager is to prepare clinical trial proposals on behalf of account directors for both the first and final stage. Tasks will include responding to new requests for proposals, proposal development, tracking, revision and production and to attend proposal team meetings. A degree in science, finance or business management is essential along with a minimum of two years experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or drug development company or two years experience in budget preparation and management. Previous proposal experience is preferred, business management skills welcome, and an understanding of the clinical process is important. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and problem solver with strong leadership skills. You must have a superior knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, be well organised, detail and team focused, capable of multi-tasking and working to deadlines. This position offers a salary cGBP 35-40K plus excellent benefits.
