: Our client is a household name and one of the leading lights in retail. They are widely seen as one of the best companies to work for across any industry. They are reviewing all of the commercial activities in this area with a view to rationalising supply base to an optimum level and negotiating best value deals for future requirements. This is a new position and the successful candidate will work alongside the incumbent marketingpurchaser, and work for a Category Manager. The creation of this new position reflects the size of the opportunity in this area. The ideal candidate will have: -Strong negotiation skills -A knowledge of marketing services -Strong influenting and interpersonal skills -The ability to develop a strong rapport with a dynamic marketing team -The confidence and conceptional thinking to develop leading edge commercial agreements that best meet their needs The position is specifically for a marketing purchaser, but it is envisaged that future development may well involve managing other buying portfolios in the future. |
