: This is a unique opportunity to join a market leading supplier of high quality pre-packs and prepared vegetables. My client is currently looking to recruit a Quality Manager to look after the technical functions of the business and reporting to the Technical Manager. This challenging role will require a dynamic and flexible manager with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of both product quality and standards on site. Other responsibilities of this role will be to effectively supervise and train the Quality Assurance team whilst extending relations between the Commercial and technical teams in order to maximise the sites productivity. It will also be essential that you are competent to comply, implement and develop the companies Produce Quality Manual. You will have competent communication skills both verbally and written. A background in quality control within fresh produce is preferable. Flexibility is key, with a sound knowledge of BRC and HACCP. This high pressure role needs a capable and experienced manager to take the helm!
