: Your role will be to assist the Senior Quality Control Engineer with Physical Quality Control testing and inspection duties and in maintaining the company's inspection and measuring equipment. You will be supporting the maintenance and the development of QC testing and inspection systems including the commissioning of new equipment, undertaking inspection activities e.g. final inspection, goods inwards inspection, tooling inspection and physical QC testing activities according to the company's quality system e.g.Thermal analysis and C-scan testing. You will be required to maintain a calibration system for the company's inspection and measuring equipment and carry out in-house calibration activities and the arrangement of external calibration activities. You will be responsible for maintaining procedures for the operation of equipment within the QC Physical test laboratory/inspection room and adhering to the company's non-conformance system including managing quarantine/non-conforming material areas. You will also assist in the recording and disposition of scrap materials and in Quality Document Control Activities and be required to apply the company's safety and 5s standards within the QC Physical test laboratory/inspection room. |
