ISO9001 QUALITY ENGINEER SORT FOR CAMBRIDGE REQUIREMENTOur client requires a Quality Engineer able to sustain and improve a top-class quality system. You will have experience of working within and auditing of an ISO9001 approved quality system (experience of the semiconductor industry preferred and knowledge of TS16949 useful). Our client is a successful and growing Fabless semiconductor company with an expanding customer base. You will facilitate significant improvement of the ISO9001:2000 certified Quality System, develop quality methods/processes and help map processes, generate flowcharts/document procedures. Quality System training. Manage the audit program, including audits to ISO9001 standard internally / at suppliers. Assist customer audits. Software / module manufacturing play an ever more important part in the portfolio and system/audit coverage of these expanding areas needs strengthening. You will encourage use of relevant Quality/Business objectives to drive continuous improvement. Review customer specifications to ensure compliance with requirements during manufacturing/shipping. Respond to customer questionnaires, generate quality documentation, support change control for products, convening/chairing Change Review Boards, defining qualification requirements. Attend, facilitate and approve Design Reviews/Software Release Boards as the Quality Rep. Support other aspects of Quality System functions, monitoring customer satisfaction, control of subcontractors and ensuring customer needs are satisfied. Some foreign travel.
