Our client, a leading manufacturer of precision engineered components for industries such as aerospace and automotive,are currently looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team in Somerset. Reporting to the Deputy Quality Manager, therole takes responsibility for dealing with all quality issues (returns, complaints and controls), ensuring all productsare inspected and released in accordance with specifications, and carrying out process audits to support ISO 9001:2000requirements.Suitable candidates must have an engineering or quality qualification to at least ONC level, have at least 3 yearsexperience, be able to understand engineering drawings and quality acceptance standards, and have prior experiencecarrying out internal audits.
