My Client are manufacturers of metal and plastic components, based in the Midlands area and are looking for a QualityManager to lead the Quality Team....The candidate must maintain ISO 9001 2000 accreditation, but be able to introduce and lead ECR, APQP FMEA, Feasibilitystudies and work with subcontract process supplier to control their process, with cosmetic limit s and reducerejects. Knowledge of Poke Yoke and 8D's with ability to put a counter argument to customers. Most important to reportdirectly to the Quality Manager and the MD and work with both to implement a radical culture change across the company,developing automotive standards, quality systems and levels of accuracy throughout. Moreover, the candidate will need tobe a strong character, with high standards, hard working and persistent.This is a permanent position. Company is now profitable 5% ROS, implementing lean manufacturing and with plans to growfrom current GBP 2.7m to GBP 5m in CNC machining.Keywords: Automotive |
