Applicants must be willing to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK if requestedOur client is looking for a DSP algorithm engineer to work on MLP and other algorithm design, implementation and support.The successful applicant will be degree-qualified, preferably 1st or 2nd, in mathematics, computer science, physics orelectronics-related subjects, and you will have two or more years experience on signal processing algorithms.The following skills/experience are required" High level mathematics" Solid understanding of signal processing fundamentals" Good working understanding of numerical methods, linear algebra, autocorrelation" Algorithm design from simulation through to implementation and testing" C/C++" MATLAB, MAPLE or other high level mathematical toolsExpertise in the following areas would be advantageous:" Real-time DSP assembler programming experience" Lossy or lossless audio/speech compression algorithmsYou should be self-motivated, creative, capable of both abstraction and practical implementation and have a structuredapproach to coding and testing. You should be able to work well unaided and within a team, with good communication skillsand the ability to prioritise and plan. Salary will depend on experience. |
